I wouldn’t say that. There will be some really good teams at the OMHA’s.
But will the Guelph team be heavily scouted? Yes. Will they have anyone drafted? Who knows.

Some one lives in a fantasy world. There is no way any AA kid is getting drafted. Kids must play AAA in order to even show up in the OHL's Priority Selection Media Guide.

Player Eligibility
North American players born in 2008 and non-overage players that were not registered with an Ontario based U16 AAA (that would mean AA kids) team from protected OHL territories are eligible for selection in the 15 rounds of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection.

My guess is that some scouts will attend the OMHA's for interest sakes and IF they see someone that catches their eye they might use a useless 10+ round selection on them.
