Red Hat meant nothing with Barrie winning it . No one was happy for them . When you are a cheater and win do you really win ….
So jealous ! Best team won regardless if you don’t like it! They moved there they didn’t cheat and you all have imports !
Congrats Barrie
Agree. Not from Barrie. Well done. You played the same game many teams have done before. You brought in players and won. Anyone associated with those teams are happy, everyone else isn’t.
And what will drive the haters even crazier is when the kids get drafted and do well next year where ever they are. Cuz they learned how to win. They learned how to play under pressure. They learned about what it takes and the effort needed to be champions. Well done Barrie. Enjoy the moment.
Actually, they didn't learn how to win. They learned how to beat the system. They would have been drafted either way. They didn't play under pressure, they were surrounded by the best players in the league and given every advantage to win. An astronomical budget including hiring not 1 but 2 highly skilled coaches. They never learned to face adversity, when things got tough they fired the coach. It takes more than a tournament win to be a champion but clearly the apple doesn't fall far from the tree here.

anyone else think it's weird that a random coach is paying for everything
I think it’s pretty weird as well. Seems like he might have some ulterior motives.
Get a life and worry about your own kids!! Barrie is good and half the team will be drafted more than you can say about any other team in OMHA! I doubt more then 3 teams in omha even have anyone drafted maybe 4

Spoken like a true looser who never had to battle through the grind of winning something like a AAA u16 league championship. Ya, there was adversity and ya, they had to play with the pressure of win or bust. Say what you will and haters will always hate, but for 15 yr olds to accomplish something g like this with the pressure that comes with the expectations is to be commended. Again, not from Barrie but have been through this myself as a player and with my son’s team. Not easy at all.
