Only thing they’ll be good at is milking parents for themed jerseys
Re: 2008 ETA
Apr u18 has committed to about 30 kids. So come August or September these kids will be looking for another team when they are cut? That’s not cool. Don’t over commit MB.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 8:48 pmDon’t miss a skate for U18 team they are mostly full already , get out there and show your stuff
Re: 2008 ETA
Doing some digging here. Let’s not insult what TT and staff have done as recent as last year by saying COW will be in anyway a rival or even a better team. Multiple cow U 18s have reached out to NS looking to jump ship, and SG, COWs best player and 6th round pick is going to NS if he doesn’t play junior A.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2024 7:50 amBy the looks of last nights skate not worth returning for another. Secondly, I don’t think a coach would leave Jr. A to build a crap minor hockey team. Players will be from everywhere, YSE, VK, JRC, PP to name a few. Just because NS isn’t boasting about having a team picked in January and losing in OMHA’s year after year doesn’t mean they’re going to be crap.
Wait for the draft, I think some will be surprised when APR commits leave for NS after MB doesn’t draft them.
Re: 2008 ETA
This story seams to play itself like this every year. MB over commits, thinks he has “the group” and then looses when it counts. Definition of insanity…….doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2024 9:05 amApr u18 has committed to about 30 kids. I wouldn’t be surprised if NS has a very quiet spring and summer (as in flying under the radar) and then bam, has a team that will compete. Yes, I said compete. Didn’t say win it all, didn’t say dominate….I said compete.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2024 9:12 amDoing some digging here. As for the SG…..buyer be warned. Not sure NS will need the headache.
Re: 2008 ETA
I agree, there’s a lot of shot talk on here about NS but you have to imagine it’s from teams like COW who benefitted from TT not being in league. MB had his easiest path to win this year and he couldn’t, it’s going to be even more difficult next year.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2024 9:42 amI wouldn’t be surprised if NS has a very quiet spring and summer (as in flying under the radar) and then bam, has a team that will compete. Coaching matters at this level, NS and MW have the two best actual coaches in this league. MB has proven he’s not a winner. Regardless of regular season expect both those teams to be in OMHA’s competing to win.

There 100 percent is, so you think if he wants our boys we are paying 95 for a development skates lol never we would just go to the next team on listGuest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2024 6:52 amA lot of nothing, have to assume NS coach has something else planned.
