TA is so bad, they don't even make the list?
Breaking news: TA has folded. Too bad for the kids.
Seriously?
No not seriously...
TA is in the Canlan this weekend as Toronto Nordiques. I just watched their first game and it was by far the worst I have ever seen for this age group. Lost 5-0. Team is all over the place, chaos on the bench, no discipline and coach has no control of the lines. Its a free for all. Parents barking at each other already. Cant wait for the next game. I feel a feud brewing. Blow up potential.
We knew it was going to be a long tough journey to be a mid pack team in this loop. The journey is in full swing. Remember, TA was playing teams with AA ringers. This is not the case in the loop. Yes, did not win a game but more competitive as the tourney went along. Dryland paying off, skill accelerating, gap closing. Be ready loop come October.
Hahahaha......this is the funniest thing I read all day. The Avs have all the cuts from other teams. No one went there willingly. Things don't improve at U17, they get worse. Panic and frustration has now kicked in. But don't worry, we need teams like this in the loop. Guaranteed last place. Enjoy the participation award.

There has been some rumors the Avs stronger players will take over the GT CAPS. Apparently the team has a spot in the loop but looking for players and a coach.

Guys loosing 5 games in one weekend is not easy on anyone. Please respect. If you secured yourself on a better team then why are you harping at the Avs. My kid just wants to play. He doesn't care win or loose and happy to be here.

Good point, games were all within 5 goals playing against many AA players. It's not that bad.

To all the losers on this board who need to tear down someone else to try to make your pathetic life seem better. Take a look in the mirror. Your life sucks. If you are on here ripping on a team of 16 year olds, you must be so unhappy that I actually feel sorry for you. You are still a POS, but I feel sorry for you,

I agree. The Avs knew exactly what they were getting into and made the decision to join this team. Their loss is your gain, so let it be and count your blessings your not part of this crap show.

Anybody reading anything into Canlan Spring Tourneys really needs to give their head a shake, the Canlan Tourneys are a cash grab, nothing more and nothing less. They show nothing when it comes to the regular season, so enjoy the summer and let the kids enjoy the couple years of Minor Hockey they all have left. You would think that by U17A the parents would have given up on the dream, apparently not.

Remember, there are different dreams for different players .. some AAA want to go to NHL, some rep players want to improve to play College or University Hockey, US School etc.
