Tough start for the mighty GTHL

NYR up 2-0 and scrape by with OT winner. (Outshot Oshawa 33-20)
VK down 3-1, come back with OT winner. (Outshot Oakville 35-21)
Barrie scraped by on 2 PP goals and with a few seconds left in OT. (Outshot Rebs 42-24 and 6-1 in OT)
JRC lost with a few seconds left. (Outshot UCC 31-19)

Marlies only managed 20 shots and had 3 goals go in on 19 shots.

Looks like the problem for the G teams is scoring, and letting in too many goals on fewer shots.

HH also got upset.

As absolutely everyone has said, the OHL Cup is a different beast. All games are winnable. All games are loseable.

MM need OT to beat a none playoff team from Alliance. West Ont team rosters are also strictly built within their borders only and are grossly handicapped by that rule vs the rest of the province. Both are facts and I'd advise you do your homework first before your tears embarrass yourself even further.
