Wrong year. U16. 2009 is draft. U18 is for kids who didn't get drafted but want to play another year with their buddies.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 7:21 am My son is in his OHL draft year and we're curious about the timeline for contract offers and communication from teams. When can we expect scouts or teams to start reaching out to families? Would this typically happen before the draft (sometime in the new year) or after the draft in April? We're also aware that many players aim for the NHL after the OHL, so any insight into the process or what we can expect would be helpful! I’ll be posting this on all AAA platforms for more exposure, as there may be others who have already gone through this or have valuable information to share.

Re: 2008 U18 AAA in the GTHL
They have a money guy and no one needs extra cash on that bench. It's when you're broke and needing cash that you sell spots and then your team does poorly. I know lots of families on that team, no needs paid extra.

No one paid more than their fees which are very reasonable. Red Wings had a good win. Time for more.

I know for a fact that the new AA fillers paid 30 grand each and if they want to play a regular shift, it’s extra $$ per game.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 4:35 pm No one paid more than their fees which are very reasonable. Red Wings had a good win. Time for more.
