I heard the Huskies' New GM is cleaning house. He got a young Jr. A - assistant coach to take over the team as the New Head Coach and new bench staff.

That's all true. What's also true is the kids they have recruited would struggle in A. Another rough year coming.

regardless bottom teams have a hard time recruiting with a horrible record
the only people who end up on these teams are A players looking to move to AA or AA cuts who are hoping to stay AA

It’s not hard to recruit delusional parents that are willing to etransfer $3000 directly to the coach, first come/first serve, to guarantee their kid a spot on the team. GM didn’t clean house. Sane people jumped ship. Most of the returning players should be playing A, but their parents have convinced themselves that being required to pay $3000 for summer hockey so that their kid is guaranteed a spot on a bottom AA team that is coached by a guy that was an assistant coach (and lower down in the depth chart of the team’s assistant coaches) on a bottom Jr B team (not Jr A) is standard practice.

$3K is rich for the summer. a little suspicious. Suppose if you're good enough you don't have to worry about it.

Congrats to VP and VR making the west finals. a great series. congrats VP, good luck at the OHFs.
Clearly the two best teams all season, not a surprise they made it through. Any surprises for anyone during the playoffs?
