Nice to see some competition. Caps missing both goalies, regardless they got shut out, convincing win for VP with no excuses. Top two or three need to be aware that they still need to show up and play the game. Mid pack teams can win

Both goalies were there. VP just outplayed them. That simple. No excuses needed, the truth hurts.

VP Dad shhhhh. Your team sucks and your kid sucks. you won 1 game where both caps goalies were not there. If you make the playoffs you will lose in the 1st round. Your goalie has won you pretty much every one of the few games you have even won.

Not sure where you're getting this fact that both goalies were not there. Both were indeed there.

Parents on the team claimed one was sick and one was hurt and they had two young call ups. Making excuses I guess. Regardless, they got shut out, convincing win for VP like I said. Goalies weren’t going to help the caps score. Good to see the top teams get beat, got to play the game to win, not just show up to the rink.

Every squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Isn’t that true? Or is there some other reason Eagles beat the new reigning self-proclaimed champs in the Panthers? Always the 2nd best Vaughan team. Don’t lose too much sleep.

All this talk about a bottom team. Crazy what the VP dad has done, which is get all of to talk about a nothing team. Its working because were all doing it. Once the top teams get down to business going into playoffs, you will see how silly you sound. A broken clock is right twice a day.

VR just tied WM. does that mean because you beat west mall , your better than VR? Good coaches work out kinks, try new things leading up to playoffs. This year will be no different.

VR dads are in shambles after the loss... I wonder what the excuses are going to be.

VR is an avg team at best now. Coaches for sure know it. They have a few good players, but the majority of their players do nothing anymore. Interesting to see how he handles it, as they do not have the talent or depth to win. Its a different team than last year seems like. The other coaches seem to be doing a better job developing their kids. Look at their record. Every game they win is close. Tied WM, Beat the panthers by a goal, lost to TW, Tied the Avalance, Beat eagles by 1 goal etc. No Blowouts, struggling to beat bottom teams, losing to the top team. It all catches up with you if you don't develop.

They play like a middle of the pack team now. A lot changes in 6 months. Team will need a lot of changes to stay on top next year and even win this year.

Some teams in this loop cut their bottom 5-7 every year and some teams mostly stick together. Some run their lines and other play their top kids only. VR cuts kids and shortens the bench. That often hurts them late in the season. But they're always a top team and their coaches seem like decent guys. We're lucky that even though we have a top group and a bottom group, every game is winnable and every game is losable. VR is not blowing out Duffield. Not many loops like that.

Incredible what bitter parents will say. You think the coach told his bottom 5 to not dress? The entire playoff run? OMG buddy….
They had a few call ups for some games because of injuries. You think they should have ran 7F for the playoffs?
LOL you think you lost because of a few kids a year younger playing a few games? You lost cause your team got outplayed.
Did you know VR 2nd best player did not play the whole playoffs? Their #2. Bet you didn’t know that. Maybe the coach also told him to not play.
You’re delusional if you believe any of that nonsense. lol the gthl was making changes to the entire GTHL for the future because the 2009 VR single A team had a few call ups for a few games because of injuries.
