Lol QRD beat Oakville twice in that tournament though… tough argument. 5-2 and 4-1.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 9:54 amThat’s what you get when OMHA (and Alliance) run a BS tournament instead of a real playoff series. Travel is an issue, we get it, but the risk is having a team like Quinte get lucky in a one game ‘winner take all’ scenario. It is what it is. All credits to Quinte for winning, but shame to the OMHA for scenarios like this to happen.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 9:29 am Wtf is Quinte Red Devils? Charity case team?

Alliance was best 2 teams in final. Other teams couldn't upset scp or hpl. Although scp and hpl were 1-1 vs each other in tournament so a best of 5 would have been appropriate to crown playoff champ. And omha should be best of east vs best of west in a best of 5.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 5:38 pmLol QRD beat Oakville twice in that tournament though… tough argument. 5-2 and 4-1.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 9:54 amThat’s what you get when OMHA (and Alliance) run a BS tournament instead of a real playoff series. 3 good teams. I’m sure that a 4th would be OM if that is the format, but I can say I didn’t check. Either way, DMF and SCP in final. DMF for the win. I don’t think OVT is built for longevity like the other two are and will not be able to sustain the week to get to the final.

Quinte and Sun county will be fresh with recent game play. Have a feeling they will both be very good . Sun county always is with great goaltending. Don mills with three weeks off may be a bit rusty , and will need to get legs back , as will OVT and OM. First day of games may have a few upsets.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 6:30 pm3 good teams. LOST to the Titans in Dec. LOST to the Rangers in January. LOST to the Majors in Feb. Needed 2 of 3 wins in OT over the Marlies in the semi finals. Needed the Titans to lose to the Marlies to sneak into first seed. Stop pretending your the 03 squad.
