Can someone post a link to the tournament everyone is talking about. thanksGuest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 10:04 amIt should be an opportunity for teams like the Panthers or Goulding to win games after having to suffer through the season. It’s the Avs tournament so why wouldn’t they be in it?!Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 10:18 amCan someone post a link to the tournament everyone is talking about. thanksGuest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 10:04 amIt should be an opportunity for teams like the Panthers or Goulding to win games after having to suffer through the season. Re: 2010 A West
You want an independent tournament to exclude teams so GP and VP have a chance to win? Yeah that makes loads of sense.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 9:30 am Aren't the post-season touranments supposed to be as a replacement for the Clancy and Founders? GTHL did not create post-season tournaments as replacements for Clancy and Founders Cups.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 11:37 amYou want an independent tournament to exclude teams so GP and VP have a chance to win? All these other post-season tournaments are open to any and all teams. Just independents finding a way to drain any remaining monies from team accounts.

Re: 2010 A West
From what I've watched all season, and comparing to other seasons. Attack have better goaltending and are better coached, that gives them a strong chance to beat what maybe on paper is a more talented team. And that combination of goaltending and coaching is what can give a team an advantage in playoffs. I still think Sharks pull this out but wouldn't surprise me at all if the Attack win this series.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 7:59 pmThank You!! The Sharks coach certainly thinks that formula works and I don’t see any championship cups in his trophy case. The Eagles have been dominating the loop for a couple of years now and yes they added a top AA player this season but they are just fine with their lowly single A players carrying the load. The Attack coach has worked tirelessly to develop his squad so to suggest that the Sharks should be dominating the series is laughable … and the fact is they are not.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 5:00 pmNot a fair statement? Agreed. If the Attack coach can keep his cool on the bench lol. Guy is bananas.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 2:30 pmFrom what I've watched all season, and comparing to other seasons. Attack coach seems a little more ruthless in not rolling his lines, does what it takes to win where Sharks seem a little more fair-play for everyone. I could be wrong.
Re: 2010 A West
Had to comment on this, ruthless or bananas would be the last words I'd use to describe the Attack coach. Makes me laugh because I'm sure some parents wish he was a bit ruthless.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 2:35 pmAgreed. If the Attack coach can keep his cool on the bench lol. If anything he dishes out equal ice too much. If you're talking about this series remember Attack were down 4 players games 1 and 2. I think I saw a double shift for a few players the final minutes of game 3 while on the pk, but it's something that rarely happens. In that 9-1 loss coach was definitely louder (maybe even bananas) on the bench than I've ever heard him, uncharacteristic on him. Far from the norm, if you've ever spoken or dealt with him you'd see that.
Re: 2010 A West
Agreed ... the Attack coach is not ruthless or even close to bananas... absolutely the opposite ... and my son doesn't even play for the team. He's one of the few coaches in either east or west loop that I would have my son play for. Great coach. Cares about the kids. periodGuest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 3:25 pmHad to comment on this, ruthless or bananas would be the last words I'd use to describe the Attack coach.
