Pin this on it's exhibition, Eagles were missing many players and generally this won't matter at all. Eagles will be more than fine when things mean something.

SIR had 14 players and Eagles had 12… 2 player difference. Eagles barely had any shots through the first two period. SIR parents seem to be the most vocal parent group on these boards and have been hyping up their team for months. Did they improve? Likely, but until they show it against teams like FH, VRE and TA in the East you can't put them in the same playing field as the top West teams.
Eagles will be the Eagles once again. Am I shocked they lost an exhibition game to an East team? no. Will they lose more games this season than they did last year? Likely. Will they be in first at seasons end and the favorite heading into the playoffs? Very likely.
Nothing is won in September.

Somewhat agree, but I don't see Sharks being in the same spot as last season. I'm not convinced Avs will be as improved as many are saying but we'll see. WML will be better because I was told they have BOTH Attack goalies from last season? They were good, maybe the best tandem in the league.
