I was surprised the refs allowed it this time considering SIR's conduct. Embarassing. Really good team that thinks they need Broad Street Bullies hockey to win. That's on their coach.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 3:27 pm I'm proud of sir win or lose they shook hands at the end. Can't say the same for Vaughn

Anyway, to change the topic, which team improved the most over the course of the year? I'd nominate Leaside. Not a lot of talent but learned to play a structured game that had them competing against better teams in the later part of the season. Ted Reeve also stands out.
The team that improved the most was definitely West Hill ... they lost their two best players that admittedly carried them last season ... and they started off slow but improved and made the playoffs. Honorable mention goes to North Toronto ... that looked fairly weak to start the season but got better as the year went along.

Would not say WH is the most improved but their continued success reflects the overall strength of the roster that carried them all the way to the Provincials last year. Their top 5 players moved up to AA and all new volunteer coaches this year did a tremendous job.

Despite a shit show of a coaching situation from what I’ve heard.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 10:28 amLeaside and TR???Guest wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 11:43 pm It's been pretty embarrassing on here the last few days, at least for the minority of parents arguing back and forth.

I think FH will be lucky to get more than a win out of this series. Eagles in 4, best case for FH is they last 5 games.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:20 am FH vs Eagles will go the distance.
