Forest Hill - West Hill today - what happened?

First loss of the season too, surprised by the score.

Does anyone know what the playoff structure is?

8 teams round robin
4 teams round robin
Conference finals first to 4 points
City finals first to 4 points

Much appreciated. I would imagine the top teams aren’t too happy about the format, there doesn’t seem to be much benefit in finishing first etc.

Last day of the regular season! Last couple spots still be decided. Any playoff predictions? Surprises or upsets?

WH and FH make it to the final 4. Then, it's going to be a battle for the other 2 spots between TA, NT, YM and LF.

My prediction is: FH, WH, NT, YM

Interesting. For sure WH and FH will run away with the first two spots. I would probably slot TA over the NT. NT has struggled recently against mid pack teams. Agreed the last spot is up for grabs, however can get a string of wins together. YM and NY tied in their first game. NYK beat MI.

So EE officially folds and GP despite not having a win is allowed back?? I don’t get what the gthl is thinking!

It was the club’s decision to fold the team, not GTHL’s.

GPR thinks there are enough delusional parents willing to shell 5K to ice a non-competitive team and they are right. And they are gonna be even worse next year - the new coach is a “famous” Avalanche 2010AA coach.
