What's the order of the bottom 5 teams next year? WM is ex-A players and Wolvs not much better

Rattlers
Wolverines
Streetsville
HV
WM
I would put panthers down there. Wolverines will be a little worse than this year but not bottom 5.
What’s everyone think about the terriers? I heard they lost their best players.
I wouldn't bet your house on that lol.

I can’t see the terriers being any better next season. They lost some good players.

Rattlers I heard won’t have a roster by tryouts.

I decided to not commit to the rattlers. When asking parents in the rink who was committed so far it was the worst players on the ice. Most of the better players were just there for the skate. I was being fooled by this coach. Will be scrambling this week now

Every other team is basically full, so who exactly are the Rattlers losing players to every week? Granted they are going to be at the bottom of the league but they'll field a team. Some folks here make it sound like their roster has already been turned over twice just during the skates. Find it a bit hard to believe.
There are still a few teams that have a spot, but often only one at this point. Many of these coaches always have a spot if the player is good.
Guys the Rattlers are not folding. There are still alot of players looking for spots and will fill the team at the end with those top players. Including goalies. They started with an empty closet as the old team abandoned ship. Everyone who is committed so far has been a cut from other teams and there is more and more coming. Rattlers will be just fine
Ok so they are going to pick up a bunch of studs at the death? Or more cuts? I got confused. What studs are still looking?
I’m confused too. So now they got crap and then they’re going to get studs? Does crap not attract crap?
Omg if your kid still doesn’t have a team it’s time to consider single A . Better team more significant ice time . Less scrambling for a team way too late in the season . You should be committed by December if not your kid isn’t a part of the core group and that’s no fun . Do better as a parent take the rose tinted glasses off and put your kid in a better position.
This is a big issue, good luck finding a spot in A hockey at this point. If you live in the west end there are only 7 teams and likely full, very limited spots available. So it's "easier" to play AA.

So what’s the status? Are the rattlers folded? One less team in AA?

Rattlers are not folding. We have top players from AA committed.

Guest wrote: Wed Apr 17, 2024 9:49 pm What's everyone's thoughts of the Rattlers skate? Trying to make my decision but feel its going to end up a repeat of last year. Feels like a bunch of hillbilly rednecks. What the feel on JR? I'm not 100% convinced
I think your answer lies in the tone of your question.
I agree, if your not convinced then you got your answer. Move on. Its a long season to put up with
If your coming from a bottom team, then I would say what other choices do you have? Try it out and suffer the consequences after. But if you got options, then I would stay away. Rattlers will be in the basement next season and then you will need to also deal with all the coach and parent BS that comes along with that team. Hope you make the right choice. good luck
Parent BS moved along with the players. Good luck Beast. Will be good on ice, and toxic off
