GTC #2? Why?
trips dropping down
lol trips . Two tiny kids that are going to get a huge wake up call and a defenceman that has been riding pine for two seasons in a row …. Good luck to gtc finishing 2nd without Chico , also TW with the circle jerk literally pumping each others tires on here replying to their own posts . They must still be looking for players or praying they don’t loose players like they did late summer last year . Regardless all this chat is pointless until February
Also mns was dismantled I’ll be very surprised if they even make playoffs .
MNS getting decent trips drop down. Kid will eat all of your kids sac lunches while parents wheel their kids off on stretchers. Book it, the kid can flat out play.
Coaches kid?

Nice to see some honesty for once on this board. Its spring hockey folks. I believe the Panthers did well also with 2 wins and 2 ties. Its been a long road to get their first win.
Definitely agree - the honesty without hyperbole and trashing other teams is refreshing. If only it could stay that way. Definitely nothing wrong with filling in a summer team with players from various teams. Wolverine's goalie was excellent. Sounds like you're in for a good competitive season. Best of luck.

None of the above. But caught myself thinking you are a giant douche bag. If it's pointless, please spare us your nonsense.

Guest wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2024 11:42 pm Wolverines won tournament. Looked really strong. Looks like they picked up some studs from other teams - MNS, MJ, Rebels, Oakville? New kids with red helmets were especially strong. Wolverines top 5 this season for sure!
Word on the street was many of those players aren't actually rostered with them for the season (I had heard 3 AAA players + two top MNS defence that aren't actually on the team). Not sure if that's actually true. If that is actually going to be their team, they will be very good.
As usual, nothing to hide. We were very short for the weekend so we did have six skaters help (9 skaters from our team). We had three forwards that were on NS last year (two are going Rebels and one to Eagles). They helped to make our team slightly better than normal. We were also missing a few D but the replacements did not make our D core better (it was similar).

It wouldn't have made much difference as the tournament was weak. Three of the teams were very weak. The only other team that was decent was West Hill. We beat them 5-2 and 4-0. I think with our regular line up the games would have been close. West Hill is a decent team who are extremely physical.

The first Canlan we did was all our team (save one Eagle F). But, this one many couldn't make it.

So, I don't think the top 5 comment is right. i think top 8 is more accurate but we will see.

Simply by putting Panthers that high you have lost all credibility. Really a terrible ranking lmao. Please don't post a ranking ever again actually.

All rankings seem to have the TE at the top. Is that because the rest of the loop has taken a step back?

How did they do in spring hockey?

When there is too much turnover on certain teamsz, it will take a little bit for the kids to all mesh together. TE VR and a few more teams near the top have less turnover and more talent than the bottom half.
I will say, its a far cry from where the teams all were 4 years ago in MA with MT and GTC battling it out for top spot. Now both of those teams are just shells of what they once were. I do see kids making the jump to AAA from VR, MT, MNS and TE. Coaches must have a successful program or parents with deep pockets.

Funny. The only person who still thinks Chico is relevant to hockey is Chico. Nothing but a wannabe that no one wants.

He's the reason his kid plays on a different team every year.
