Another stinker of a weekend for MNS. Couldn't even compete, never mind win. Coach should read the room and move the squad down a division, maybe two.
MNS coach has alienated every good player that was ever on that team. Now he’s left holding a bag of spare parts and scraps. Look out WM and HVS you have competition at the bottom.

Apparently, some parents have asked for releases. It’s probably only the one parent I talked to at the arena but who knows. There is always some truth to the drama

Spare parts and scraps? Ouch. That’s not very nice. These are kids, man.

Was this a aa loop or were they in the aaa loop
Big difference on how you gauge the quality of play

Top AA teams are all playing in the AAA loop. Have all been able to compete and place in top 3. Rangers are up next this weekend and will not disappoint. MNS parents clearly had long faces this weekend and a lot of panic but I don't suspect anyone is jumping ship.

One of my kids was in this tournament (different age group)

You can't read too much into things with Spring teams, especially hockey school teams. Some are heavily stacked with AAA players even though it's a AA loop. One team had 8 AAA players and obviously a true AA without additions isn't going to fare very well.. One AA team came out winless and they are a pretty good team. We won 2 lost 3, but that was as good as we could do considering a couple teams we played.

Agree to disagree, aa teams playing against aaa development teams or stacked aaa teams don’t have a chance in hell - save you popcorn until the season starts

Not true, VR playing as BAS is competing every tourney this spring. That team doesn't have a core turning over every season like MNS.

leave VR name out your mouth. VR and MNS do not need outsiders chiming in on spring and trying to make it something it isn't. your no tthere, were all fine, leave us alone. its spring hockey. nice summer break right around the corner
