Is this the right time for the mid-term review?
Who knocked your socks off in both the high-fives and the facepalms category?
JRC / SENS / MAJORS - expected top 3
REPS nice suprise, doing better then expected

DMF / KING - as expected
TM - suprise ho wmuch shambles there in

NATS / REBELS / REDWINGS - no suprises, irrelevant, other then JC telling everyone theyll be the top team next year for the 4th year in a row

NYR / TITANS - embarassing
Interchangeable, for all our Italian friends that means the difference between 1 and 7 changes weekly. Great post by the way!
1-3 JRC, SENS, MM - interchangeable
4-6 REPS, VK, DMF - interchangeable
7?? TM - ??!?? - i do think they can turn it around if parents lose the ego
9-10 NATS, RW, REB - interchangeable
11-12 NYR, TT lol wow
Agree with you there - good luck in the final stretch. Let's review this in March
I think Reps and Rebels are a surprise. Reps were supposed to middle of the pack, but instead are pushing for top spot. Most thought Rebels would be at the bottom of the loop and they are in the middle of the pack at 7-8 spot. It will be interesting to see who gets better and who gets worse.

Reps came 5th last year and everyone expected them to finish in the same spot - NO ONE thought they would challenge for 1st. Very Nice to see.

Rebels could not get any worse right? Only up from 2 wins last year - But 7th!!! At the midway mark?! Amazing!

Marlies, oh boy! This is what happens when you have a bunch of parents telling their kid how to play every car ride home from the rink. The coach wont matter with this group of parents, its a free for all.

VK, not doing horrible but very far away from the “super team” everyone thought they would be!

Nats and TRW have the two coaches that shouldnt be allowed to coach in any league!! Lunatics!

Titans and NYR are 2 disastrous organizations so no shock.

JRC, MM, Sens, DMF
All right where everyone expected!

My guess would be
34 good enough to keep. The need to keep some of the D intact
86 and 66 good underagers but will most likely need to go back to 2011s.
TM needs a complete changeout. Culture is bad, cancerous attitudes. Unfortunately others do not have the skill sets or IQ to be associate with the crest.
 66 is a 2010. Was 97 I believe. His game had dropped off significantly because of size.
Dad’s the one that started the lynch mob. Now trying to stir things up again with interim coaches. Org knows the past issues but AC protected them so I’ll hazard to guess that 66 will be gone end of the season as well. Plus TM won’t be able to recruit if dad is still there. One post stated that some of these players will have difficulty finding a new home come next season.
Pro tip don’t be bad teammates, or be a crazy parent and burn any bridges. 2 years left and players might be affected.
come on folks, what top coach (and we know they will have a big name for these next 2 seasons) is going to want to keep any of the kids currently on the team. That team is going to be wiped clean and start fresh, and yes if players get asked they will make the move. There wont be free rides and that team will be built with strong, hard working, respectable players. Thats not on the current team, sorry
Serious question
Does anyone believe that a newly formed team in bantam will be impactful in minor midget, I honestly thought you would need more than 2 years to build a team to prep for u16s.
Has it happened before?
Why not? Like the previous poster said, top 6 in this loop are fun to watch. I don’t think that just because the Marlies are in a slump that they won’t be competitive next year. A few changes, and they’ll be top 6. The U16, it’s anyone’s guess??
A few changes? So you don’t think they’ll clear bench and start fresh as everyone here is speculating?
TM has a few players that they'll bring back. When I say few, maybe 3 F and 2 D would be my guess?? But that's not my decision.
I think there would be more than that. 5 F and 3 D would be more like it
Execs evaluation
If you’re a cancer to the team you are gone so dismiss 4F
If you don’t have hockey iq or skilled enough you are gone so dismiss 1-2F/2D/2G
If you’re small you are gone so dismiss 1F/1D
Gentlemen that leaves us with a projected 2-3F / 2D returning. We all know who they are.
I still believe they can and will turn this team around for the playoffs. However, no matter what this year’s outcome will be, there will be major changes coming next season.
And base on the calls made, there definitely will be changes. And TM will need to create room to accommodate these players.

I likes but for some reason I have JRC dropping and Reps jumping inside 3. I think teams like Sens MM and Reps, I’ll throw in TM might expose jrc’s lack of pushback. They are skilled but that may not fly just relying only on skill later in the season. Im routing for TM to make a comeback and jump into the 5-6 spot but man that culture is bad bad bad. Everyone of them hate the other - this is both parents and players. Dont think they could be pooled in with Reps VK and DMF.

Did anyone expect TM to be where they are today? I have to admit, I didn’t. They brought in big and decently skilled players. Wouldn’t have thought we would be discussing them in the last playoff spot. Wonder if JRC MM Sens and DMF are immune to the same down fall.

I think if we are being honest, the only SHOCK is how horrible most of these teams are. So while it may seem that certain teams are doing better than expected, I see it as teams are just waaaaay worse than expected. Parents need to back off nd let the kids play.

No immunization unless the shit parents can do themselves a favour not stirring shit, and let the kids follow instructions, let the coach do their job, discipline all and play the right way.

Unfortunately there is no super team in this age group.

Anybody saying they will be there next season before knowing about a coach, style, players etc is chasing a jersey. Ladies and gentlemen if you're not on an established team already then its time to start throwing in the towel as your just chasing letters. Parents, you only have yourselves to blame. Its unfortunate really. How many more jerseys can you collect before mens league, A division of course
