I think the real question is what happens to JRC. Many core multi-year kids all leaving today. Does the rest like the additions, could one more big piece go.

That’s hilarious! VK wins a game and all is great again in vaughanland. If they lost, there was going to be a mass exodus. CS doesnt realize how close he was to losing 3/4 of his top players. Today, they are calling the coaches they’ve been speaking with the past 2 months to let them know they’ll be staying with VK for another season. And of course, saying it was the kids decision to stay with his buddies. Ending the call by saying if things don’t go well, we’re definitely coming to you guys the following season. They have a couple months of team peace before their next loss and it starts all over again.

You are really delusional... You think that your shitty experience on your current team translates to VK? There are people who switch every year because they try to find a home for their duster where he will be a star first liner - these are the worst kind, hoping that mediocrity could be changed by circumstance. Then there are people who are not happy with coach or development or ice time and choose to go elsewhere - these are actually reasonable folks, who understand that they need change to improve. Then there are cuts. And then there is committed core. People who were leaving VK were leaving in January and there were not surprises in April.
As much as you'd like to think differently, Committed Core never called anyone - and yes, I know the numbers of those players.. In fact JRC and Marlies made passes at Committed Core up until Sunday afternoon - and yes, I know the numbers of the players whose parents were talked to yesterday after the semis. But now its over. The rest of the league is getting ready to lay down, relax and get ready to enjoy VK playing you!!!!
