A few mins after getting the leadership award the janitors kid told another forward on the team “You didn’t get this because you suck”
My son told me that same story after the event. Says it all.
He's also telling kids on the team that he should get the "C"

Ummm…. Prospect Stars is not JRC. Prospect Stars is a team of kids with Asian heritage. I think you are think of Future Prospects that is majority JRC kids. BIG difference. Prospect Stars is a AA team. Future Prospects would spank Prospect Stars.

Yes Future Prospects would most likely beat Prospect Stars depending on who plays for them but don’t kid yourself that’s an elite team. Some very good players on squad and they move the puck well and play as a team. Just because you’re an insecure FP parent don’t sh/t on these PS kids who deserve the recognition.

Why do spring teams take pride when they sandbag tourneys and win? I don't understand. Wouldn't it be better to play against similar teams? If a stacked team plays in a lower division, what's the point? To simply win a meaningless tourney? I'd rather lose, while playing against better teams, than win against weaker teams. Am I nuts?
