Of the teams getting new coaches, can anyone confirm who they are and thoughts on them and the teams?

Look at his record - has he ever had a team, at any level, that won more than 30% of its games? Hint: the answer is no. He'll be moving along after this next failed attempt. Probably rubbed the OHL crowd the wrong way with his unfriendly nature. Poor kids who will be exposed to him.
