GO has been a great coach for years and kids love his skate camps.
He also coaches the SYB U10AA too.

This coach does not play 3rd line in pp, pk, 3rd period during regular season? And the season not even past 1/3. That's ridiculous.

Sorry but this is U14 AA, equal ice time is gone for the most part. You have options when looking for a team. Play on a team where your kid is the best but either worse team or lower level. Or play them on a better team but know you won't get minutes. There is a reason the GTHL demands equal ice time for the u11 and u10 age group...you notice they don't mentioned u14.

Part of hockey. Just so you know the coach probably knows who is writing this, it isn't helping your case at all. You think the coach is going to play your kid more now that you have went public with your anger. My recommendation would be to ask for a release and see if you can find another team maybe in A level for the year to play on. Sounds like you are in a really bad situation now.

Everyone knows at u14 equal ice time is rare and doesn't happen often. But to not play a third line for the whole third period is just stupid and embarrassing. Not very good coaching in my opinion.

Agreed, especially in the regular season. I can understand the playoffs but regular season is bad. Going to be a lot of kids wanting to leave next year.
