Don't be so sure.
MI is province leader soon
Get your head out of your ass. MI isn't even close to that. They're average at best.

Lol... getting upset about an anonymous post on MHT. It was likely posted by a non MI parent to stir $*** up. And look, it worked.

A group of players on a Greater Toronto Hockey League U13 AA team took inappropriate and "sexually suggestive" photos of a teammate in their dressing room in October 2023 and then shared the pictures with each other and with classmates at school and also posted them on social media.
The victim's parents filed a complaint with Hockey Canada two months later against the team's head coach, alleging he did not do enough to stop "ongoing verbal and physical bullying by a select group of teammates that took place in an unsupervised hockey dressing room."
During a subsequent investigation, the coach admitted that while his team's dressing room door was typically propped open, he did not always supervise his players. (GTHL policy requires two screened adults must be close enough to dressing room with door propped open to monitor environment inside.)
The coach was suspended for two weeks and directed to complete a course on coaching responsibilities.
Safe sport experts tell me the incident is among the first where a coach has been held accountable for not properly supervising their players.
Details of the incident and sanction were published by the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada.

Yes, don't accuse someone on a open forum like MHT without facts.
GO has been a great coach for years and kids love his skate camps.
He also coaches the SYB U10AA too.
All these comments are BS.
Prove it.
Otherwise you're just a disgruntled parent because your kid is on the 3rd line , no pp/pk time and doesn't play the 3rd period.
Prove me wrong. With Facts!!
This coach does not play 3rd line in pp, pk, 3rd period during regular season? And the season not even past 1/3. That's ridiculous.
Sorry but this is U14 AA, equal ice time is gone for the most part. You have options when looking for a team. Play on a team where your kid is the best but either worse team or lower level. Or play them on a better team but know you won't get minutes. There is a reason the GTHL demands equal ice time for the u11 and u10 age group...you notice they don't mentioned u14.

Part of hockey. Just so you know the coach probably knows who is writing this, it isn't helping your case at all. You think the coach is going to play your kid more now that you have went public with your anger. My recommendation would be to ask for a release and see if you can find another team maybe in A level for the year to play on. Sounds like you are in a really bad situation now.
Everyone knows at u14 equal ice time is rare and doesn't happen often. But to not play a third line for the whole third period is just stupid and embarrassing. Not very good coaching in my opinion.
Agreed, especially in the regular season. I can understand the playoffs but regular season is bad. Going to be a lot of kids wanting to leave next year.
