Well done NYK and SYB. Sub .500 seasons, but you stepped up when it counted. Man would TRT trade for a losing regular season to be in the Final Four right now.

TRT have fallen victim to nothing except their own incompetence. They are not able to adapt to playoff hockey period. Teams make adjustments and figure each others tendencies. TRT play the same style with the same old plays that everyone knows. Coaches are too old school and play 80s hockey. There is no real development and it shows.

And if you are in one of the teams that still don't know what plays to watch out for when playing TRT, you should go look for a better team. Obviously your coach is too lazy or not capable. Just look at which teams beat TRT in the playoff.

Such a great environment of winning and outstanding coaching that families are leaving for other double A teams in the loop. Yup, plan all along. Well done.

If you are a coach, this way of thinking proves nothing will improve for your team next year. At least learn to appreciate these "coaches in the stands" that are willing to stick with you in your downward spiral despite your incompetence. Show some respect and don't let them know this is how you really think, otherwise your team will implode before season starts.

If you are a non-coach in the stands but some other parents can actually affect the team's performance more than the bench staff does, please recognize that if the coaches can't put parents in their places, it really shows another aspect of incompetence. Or just be happy staying with the same coaches and at least your kid will learn how to cope with life under bad leadership.

Sports are crazy. Ted Reeve scores a couple more goals against the Knights or Forest HIll and nobody is talking about them. That didn't happen and now they are treated like failures. Not easy to be a coach or play this game.
