I’ve heard he’s not blowing it up but kids don’t wanna go back. NRP’s that came wanna leave to find a better fit. Whitby coming back with parent coach again? Gotta stay away from the parent coaching at this age. Who still has parent coaches? Whitecaps, Whitby, NCP, Barrie?

Barrie coach is clearly the best in the ETA, until someone proves him otherwise

you shouldn’t care about the label it’s whether or not he treats everyone on the team the same, his own kid included.

I do believe there are some parent coaches who do it right for the betterment of team play

Agree totally with Barrie coach. I guess RT is parent coach for waxers with good track record of getting to omha’s but looks like it turning into a side show there. I hear he coaches them more to hurt kids than he does how to play. Even when they are winning they running kids at end of games. If he didn’t have refs in his back pocket every game they be mid pack team.

Funny, I've heard the opposite. No early commitments to non Ajax/Pickering players wishing to return, with the exception of a few. Parents not willing to bank on his "wait until tryouts" mentality are most likely looking around.

Barrie is definitely the best coached team in the ETA, it's obvious every time we play against them. He's the one exception to the parent coaching stereotype. As for the side show that is RT and the Waxers, I wouldn't say he has refs in his back pocket (that implies some shady shyte). I do think however, refs are intimidated by him. They are a rough team, but no where near as chippy and dirty (in my experience this season) as WW and PP.
