I have to agree with this comment and although I do realize that all parents get caught up in the games and want their kids teams to win. Aeros parents are down right nasty. Very sore losers and constantly crying and screaming at the refs. I’ve witnessed them fighting in the stands with opposing teams parents, threats to meet them in the parking lot and wait outside the referee’s door to cry about a call.
Say what you want about parents- they are adults. It’s not ok to boo kids, especially 11 year olds. Refs too even though they aren’t perfect.

Ironically I wouldn’t rank the Aeros or Knights parent groups as the worst. But naming other parent groups is not going to be productive. Let’s just stay focused on the kids playing competitive hockey and realize at the end of the playoffs only one team will emerge from the East.

AVR seems to be taking care of business so far, reports their playoff demise may have been exaggerated. Not really anything you’d really call an upset yet in the loop. Nice to have games going again, that was a long layoff.

TRT vs NYK...TRT

ARD vs LF...LF

TA vs MI...TA

NT vs SIR...NT

Good luck everyone.
1 for 4

Shows the parity in the division right now.
I thought my proline parley was a winner 😆

Going back to the teams for next year, again, how are there 2nd TRT and LF teams? They will always be behind the established teams, aren’t they just feeder teams, and it’s going to be more too heavy next year? How does NT select not get the chance to form a team, I mean, if anyone?

Two new teams in West too. Don Mills coming down at least seems like there is a plan to ice a team, but where are 4 other new A teams coming from? I’ve seen the skates, there’s not 70-odd more A players around.

New kids will come up.to A and develop and while they develop your kid might have a little more success next year. Is that a bad thing? Judging from other age groups that have seen select teams come up they usually fair well. 2011 East York joined this past year and made the playoffs so maybe just worry about your own kids and teams and let others join the party if they feel they are ready. If they arent they will figure it out.if the GTHL listened to parents there would be 4 AAA teams 6 AA teams and 6 A teams and 60 select teams.

West has only one new team - Eagles.

Well fair enough, I’m really more off put by adding second teams for associations. Forest Hill and say West Hill or something instead would have made more sense to me.

I hope they are all some level of competitive.

Would be great, but no. 7 teams on the West, 11 on the East.
