If NT wins it though, a world exists where there is a 4 way tie at 7 points and the universe implodes on itself as the G attempts to figure out the last digit of pi.
Looks like an upset with NT winning tonight. They hold the 4th and final spot, and the Markham vs
Knights game is meaningless since NT holds the tiebreaker.
What is the tie breaker for a three way tie?
It's record vs. each other in rd robin
Wrong, not when 3 teams are tied. If MI wins tomorrow it will come down to goal for / goals against percentage
For regular season the last playoff spot defines by number of wins first. If it's the same rule in round robin playoff, NT and MI have advantage. Then it's head to head result. NT has advantage. However, I cannot find tie breaker rules for round robin playoff. If someone can provide it, it would be great.
The playoff bulletin that was issued to clubs by the GTHL apparently states that it is the point record amongst the tied teams only that would be the first tie breaker. Then it would go to most wins and then best goal average. So NT beating both then ducks and islanders puts them through.

2nd round is set. NYK, TR, LF & NT.

Will either TR or NT prevent a rematch from last year?

Big night on the West side. All teams have 2 points (1-1-0) after 2 games and are playing tonight. Lazy prediction is that AVS and VR will go to finals, however, I am going to say AVS and HVS.

You beat me to it! I normally dont comment too much on the West because I dont know too much about the teams but seeing the standings this morning was an eye opener. That was a MASSIVE win by the Sharks and certainly threw a monkey wrench into Round 2.

It's do or die night for Sharks and Panthers. A tie doesnt get either through.

If Sharks vs. Rangers ends in a tie then Rangers move on.
If Avs vs. Panthers ends in a tie then Avs would move on.

If both end in a tie, Avs and Rangers move on.

This is the MOMENT for the Sharks and Panthers. 1 game for the Glory of an upset.

Panthers already went way above expectations not only by qualifying to top-4, but beating Sharks in the first game. On the other hand, they managed to play 4-4 once vs AVS during regular season, so why not to repeat something like that tonight?

Sharks know how to beat Rangers, question is if they can execute it again.
