Couldn't agree more, played the knights various times during the regular season and watched them in the playoffs, particularly in the finals. So many boarding attempts and one with a vicious slash to the head of one of the Avs players and constantly taughted the other team's goalie. This is the brand of hockey you be accustomed to playing with the Knights.

Hopefully the coaches and players smarten up next year.
Have you ever seen an 11 year old lacrosse game? There's nothing vicious about 11 year old single A non-contact hockey. If rep hockey is too rough for your kid then try basketball, or maybe tennis, where players aren't allowed to touch each other.
With respect, if it was your kid that got the slash to the head I'd bet you'd be screaming for blood. Particularly since you seem to condone this type of hooliganism. Perhaps you should focus on improving your kid's overall behaviour instead of insulting kids who don't feel its necessary to play dirty. Although I don't have a horse in this race, I can say for certain, I'm sure glad your team lost.
You think I have a "horse in this race"? hahaha

The kids are wearing helmets and cages FFS. In Lax, if a kid instinctively ducks and as a result is cross-checked in the head, there is no penalty. Both my kids played Lax, and with the amount of slashing and crosschecking that occurs as part of the play...a slash to the helmet or anywhere else on the body in a hockey game wouldn't bother them in the least. Like my youngest once said, hitting in hockey doesn't compare to hitting in lacrosse...you don't come home from a hockey game with bruises all over your body. So for you or any other fragile parent to describe anything in an 11 year old non-contact single A as "vicious" is an over dramatization.

It's never too soon for a kid to have an agent. It's important to help your kid get ready to make the leap to AA, and an agent will get him on the right team with the best coach.

Was that a serious question? This is A hockey which compared to AAA hockey is like you trying to play basketball against an nba player. Until your kid hits 14 and is playing AAA don’t ever ask that question out loud again

My kid doesn’t want to stay with the a & aa teams for very long, it’s not a good look.

Getting ahead of yourself I think.

First set up an Elite Prospects profile, THEN go get the agent.

It may have been a serious question, but it most certainly wasn’t a serious reply.

From a parent who isn’t on the Knights- they beat us fair and square and while they did get a lot of penalties- they played tough play off hockey- hence why they won the east. If you are still complaining about a slash- you aren’t cut out to be a hockey parent.

Sad to see this thread degenerate into what it has become at the end of the season.

Congrats to:
TRT & NYK in the East.
AVS & HVS in the West.

NYK & AVS took it right to the end.

Hope everyone enjoys their Spring and Summer.

It will be fine, just couple of trolls showed up, probably, lost on their way to AAA page.

AVS won GTHL and GTHL/MHL, congrats, totally deserved it!

Sorry did the Knights win anything?

Last time I checked, LF won the prohockeylife cup.
