What a waste of my time. Everest brings in kids from BC and the US to boast on their social media. How can you embarrass the other Everest teams like that and put non Elite teams in the same division. Most of the top GTHL kids didn’t even come. I hope those Toronto Elite families are happy with their money well spent lol.
The 2012 studs that all play 2011 were there. Guess you missed out.
I was there but I wouldn’t say studs. The kids playing 2011 weren’t even the best kids playing. There has been a lot more competition in past but it looks like people are choosing not to participate. Was really only 3 teams in the elite division but barely enough to make a tournament. I expected a few others to come. My kid had fun but I know a lot of disgruntled parents. The usual crazies showed up to showcase their studs…. Lol.
I did notice how the “2011s” looked very average mostly. At times unnoticeable… seems like a lot of kids get hype from their days as a U8/ U9 player …
Players like AW are no longer the same. Did nothing yesterday! Players have caught up and surpassed. Brick is long gone! Going to be a rude awakening for a lot of kids come sept!

I was there. Saw the floppy bellies and heard the non-stop running mouths. Another year gone, not much has changed, and to think that the end is coming shortly...

Heard PS was coaching “team china”.
The biggest dirt balls will be found in and around “elite” spring hockey. Preying on dumb ass parents and taking whatever money they can find. This isn’t development of any kind.

The people who complain about elite spring hockey are the ones that didn’t get invited
You are an idiot. Wanna play Elite hockey - its just one phone call, bring your money and play. Don't think your kid is special.
Elite hockey...give your head a shake. lol

I can take an average kid, create an Instagram account, and make you idiots believe he's elite. Sales and marketing 101.

So with all this talk about “poor development” what coach can actually develop? All I hear is this guy sucks, terrible coaching. Who has actually had a good experience with a coach that meets your standards or all they all trash ?

But did he play at the BRICK?! Did he put up 3-5 pts as expected of an elite fwd last game? Was he a plus 3 or 4, with at least a pt as a dman last game? Did he get a shutout to stand out as superior as you want to believe he is last outing? Idiots. They're 10! Nothing holds true in one year let alone when they're 14 or 15 playing contact and having grown 1 or 2 feet in a handful of years from now.

Stop talking sense to these dummies

I checked the Brick stats from 2015/2016 and struggled to find a lot of the top u16 draft stock. I recognized 5 names or so. I don’t believe the number one expected pick and a number of 1st rounders even went. They probably weren’t elite enough then. 😂

100% most of the elite parents will sabotage their kids before then with poor leadership, diet plans, and toxic attitudes.

Good luck. Pay your elite fees. 👍🏻

Goalies are the best ones. Imagine a family moving to Toronto from BC where Carey Price played to chase the dream. Everest must have payed a pretty penny. Most goalies aren’t even relevant at all until u14. Half of them haven’t grown yet. Insanity.

As for the the other Studs…. 😂😂😂😂

Yes. The GTHL is a great competitive environment but seriously, people are messed up.

I’ve watched a couple AA kids playing that I suspect will be AAA in a couple years.

I cannot wait to watch some of these idiots enter rinks with their studs in 4 years.

Do they tuck tail and go back home?

Then it’s an even dumber decision
WHO TF moves from BC to Toronto?
If you’ve got that kind of money, invest in the development.
