I read this and thought,

Are we saying TE is not an elite team?
Are we surprised by a mid pack spring team challenging a broken NYR?

Which is more surprising?
I know you enjoy both narratives, however, our TE team was loaded with talent from JRC: GM, JH, CL, EH, AW as well as ex-TM ND and an excellent player from Sun County (MD). And NYR was without several of their regular players, including their best forward. At one point they were up 5-1. I know people love to $hit on NYR but take them lightly at your peril. I see them fighting for 1-2 next year.
so much bullshit in this post.
Bullshit? My kid plays on TE. I watched the game with my own eyes. But you do you!
Based on the other post - what game were you watching because you listed kids that werent even there. The best player was there etc.

Stop making excuses for your shitty team. The run is over and there is two people to blame.
My kids not on the team. It was an observation. Touched a nerve?

Once again the only player that matters is CM.The other kids are all interchangable with good players from bottom 9 teams.

The top teams now, will have maybe 4 players that remain with them all the way up. Just because you are on a top squad now does not mean you will not be replaced at u14 by a kid from the OMHA.

Do teams have to show the year end budget of expenses. I have not seen anything from my team or organization from last season.

Yes. You’re supposed to see a final budget

My team has not showed us the final budget yet I don’t think they will.

Usually because something was buried into it or someone got extra money. This is why there are in investigations happening.
Lots of shady things going on.

You are supposed to see the following:

Draft budgets:
This is just an outlook of what the team would like to do. Nothing is considered final and will give you as a parent an idea of what the team is looking to spend well before tryouts. Not uncommon to have a coach tell you "Approximately $8500"

First budget before signing:
You should never sign a card without seeing the final budget for the following season. It should have a reasonable amount of detail, not clumping items like Misc $4000, as an example. Budgets must be signed off by parents and sent back to the organization for approval.

Second budget around Nov/Dec:
This is showing collected sponsorships, money used, money remaining.

Third budget end of season:
This budget will have everything balanced with any refunds needing to be paid out to players.

Extras:
ANY CHANGE to the budget after signing requires parents to vote on with 75% approval. Example on this would be a Third Jersey introduced after the fact, an extra tournament or a proposed change to an arena which could result in less practices as this new arena would cost more.

Budgets must be presented at any time a request is made. Any parent has the right to see the budget and where it stands upon request. Not necessarily right away, usually it will take a few days to tidy things up but that is on the manager to communicate that to the parent making the request.

If these rules aren't followed, you can file a complaint with the organization. If you get nowhere with them, talk to the G who will take this more seriously.

Hope that helps!
