Isn’t that an odd place to hand out budgets from the previous season? So many teams lack professionalism.
Teams have 4 weeks from last game to provide final budget and give back any remaining money, if any. Most seasons ended a couple weeks before tryouts, so when would you like them to hand them out? I get it's not the besst situation but if you were not going back to the team , I'm sure you could have contacted the team manager and asked for a copy

These budget spreadsheets aren’t really rocket science. I didn’t see ours either but like many other parents I’m sure, I just paid my fees and didn’t ask too many questions. You’d think a professional organization would ensure things are handled with best practice but we all know the world we are in. Tryouts makes zero sense because most teams are losing 4+ players. Secondly, from what I’ve seen, if you’re asking questions or pushing back, it usually doesn’t go well for your player. It’s all a little “funny” if you ask me.
