PF is one of the best skills trainers in the GTA and knows more about how to develop kids than any 2012 coach, that is forsure!
Please tell me which kids PF has developed?
TE poaches kids from other programs in an attempt to make teams. If he knew about hockey he would have made better selections. So many over rated players and soft players. The kid from Japan takes the cake.
The problem with PF and TE is that their a bunch of young guns unproven and charging top dollar. Zero experience coaching. No clue how to build a team. A lot of fancy pylon drills. The same bullshit. Built a program off of the Asian community. How about add some value and grow your own talent. Constantly targeting the same kids as everyone else. It’s not an Elite program and very little actual development. There is potential but too much ego involved and not enough value. Could be better than many of the others if the right intentions existed. Drop the stupid over priced informs and put in some added value
Have you seen an instructor more skilled on the ice ? Old guys that can barely skate charge top dollar. If I pay top dollar, the skills guy guy better wow me

How did aw play for them. Avg and overrated from playing up a year.

He’s overrated and would have had a winter team coaching job long ago if he was that good.

How is a skills trainer that can do all the fancy tricks to impress you going to help improve your kid? If they do not know how to critique and communicate changes to a minor then its pointless. You could have mcdavid running the skills session if he can't articulate instructions or changes on what the kid needs to do then its the same as most. Figure skating coaches are on the sidelines and not on the ice doing triple jumps. they make more than these overpaid skills guys too

Name 3 people with better skill, right now than PF? He has a following for a reason. Runs a great skate and gets along well with the kids.

Is he trying out for a team or teaching? Very different things.
Also if he was that skilled he’d have had more of a hockey career than he did.

Teaching and playing are two different things. Gretzky couldn’t coach… I will say, PF has taught a lot of kids to be selfish and it shows in the program he now has for spring. A lot of skill, not a lot that actually can play the game

Teaching aside here’s 5 with better skill and it’s not close:

PS - 2012 NYR
AK - 2011 NYR
ML - TBD/ 2008TM
AN - 2013 VK
CM - 2011 TM

Waste of time to talk about this guy. He has no track record of development. Just marketing and whatever fake clout he’s created.

He’s a business man and he’s successful at it. Good for him.
