NT
My pick to win the East this year.
They have added size to their speed and skill ,shaken off whatever was ailing them last year.
Not unbeatable but very very very hard to beat
LF
My stretch pick to win the East this year.
One more team that has made improvements to their roster but need to find the goals to be taken seriously.
MI
Started the season with a bang after winning the Vaughan Silver Stick but have taken a Humpty Dumpty fall off the wall since then.
Still the dirtiest team in the division but need to find some consistency to go the distance.
SYB
Probably suffering from championship hangover but holy regression, except for the top few players everyone seems to have taken a few steps back developmentally. Have not taken the chance to make changes and add size to their team in the off season and lost the size they had on D to AAA.
Will find it hard to repeat last seasons performance.
FH
For a team that was reportedly going to throw in the AA towel last season, they started well but since have stumbled a bit.
Will end up mid to low in the table but could surprise everyone in the playoffs.
TRT
If you are going to take all the top players from other teams, have a plan to make good use of them.
So far the "super" team has been underperforming, underwhelming and unimpressive.
NYK
Another stretch pick to win the East this year unless everyone else figures that 1 player is scoring 70% of their goals.
Those Junior C guys coaching the team, after pissing off half the division with the underhanded "recruiting" tactics last year, need to figure out a plan to get more players involved or else they will end up being a one season one trick pony.
SIR
Don't call it a "rebuild" but with half the roster gone to other teams means they need to get real creative real fast to stay relevant.
Like FH will be mid to low in the table but again could surprise everyone in the playoffs.
EE
Consensus bottom team this season.
But I hope for the mental health of all the kids playing on their team ,that they manage to score some points.
Ain't fun if you keep losing. Not for them, not for us, not for the league, not for the sport.
Folks, our kids are playing U13 AA.
Maybe few make AAA next year, maybe maybe maybe maybe 1 makes it to the big show.
For most of us this is as good as it gets.
So put your fragile ego's away and lets enjoy our kids playing in what all of us can agree, is the best damn division in the GTHL.
Good luck to all.
Not sure if this is the flex you think it is.

Markham is better than what the standings show. Dirtiest team in the division too.
