Maybe we do care. We care about why didn't they move down, or try to recruit some AA players. Maybe change the coach if it isn't working out.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 10:08 pmWhy do you care? They have one AA player on the team that plays defence. He will in all likelihood be on a top AA team team next season or possibly a low end AAA. There’s always going to be a bottom team in each division, just the way the cookie crumbles. This team wouldn’t be the same if they dropped down. Half of them would have small parts on the weakest AA team available. Similar to what the DMM are this season in A. Not easy recruiting to a last place team btw, unless a goalie wants the work. If the kids are happy or content not scoring then let them play. Kids are mature enough at this age to know what they are getting into.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 8:04 amMaybe we do care. I agree, use it as a stepping stone. There are times the low end team finds a piece or a player from a top team goes there for more ice time and excels. Keep practicing and developing. EE Coach is great and has a great team in 2010. If EE got the luck of TRT getting those players they wouldn't be last and those TRT players might have brought more. Bottom teams can turn into top team example NYK.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 8:27 amThey have one AA player on the team that plays defence. Re: 2012 GTHL EAST AA
EE goalie is doing his best. This would have been 8-0 if not for some great saves he made.
D is trying but the entire O seems to be on the "Olympic Standing Around" team.
Re: 2012 GTHL EAST AA
Difference is the EE coach is a proven vet and will turn it around. NYK coach knows absolutely nothing. Guys a joke, program is a joke. Everything about him is a joke. Junior C player .. you’re all foolsGuest wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 9:46 amI agree, use it as a stepping stone. Re: 2012 GTHL EAST AA
I have a couple that I can think ofGuest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 4:34 pmExactly. Good coaches are able to develop or work with any talent and teach or correct. Sounds like this “Coach” wants the best players and easiest parents with not so much coaching needed.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 4:31 pm sounds like you have a lot of excuses ready for the next parent meeting. Also maybe a coach can teach a kid to not take a bad penalty, or how to angle so he doesn't get hurt, maybe so the kid so development and fun so they decide to stay longer than a year. I have seen bad parents turn good with open conversations and real expectations for parents, coaches and team.
Don't turn this into rocket science.
Re: 2012 GTHL EAST AA
It depends, many kids decided to go to A instead of AA team options particularly bottom onesGuest wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 9:46 amI agree, use it as a stepping stone. The league is faster, better.
Hard to develop when the puck is in your end all game.
Not sure of this luck you're referring to regarding TRT getting all those players but it doesn't look like it's worked out so far.
Re: 2012 GTHL EAST AA
So far is correct, and that is why the season isn't 6 games long. TRT has time to play together. Coaches may have thought those pieces fit in perfect now it is their job to adjust to what they have. They did that the 1st 3 years. What worked then may not work now.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 11:46 amIt depends, many kids decided to go to A instead of AA team options particularly bottom onesGuest wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 9:46 amI agree, use it as a stepping stone.
