It’s the way the system is set up. Teams can’t afford to wait to see who magically shows up at their tryout. The teams that do that never win and are often dead last.

So walk that forward and realize that coaches are always developing their network and getting to know players.

Few get jobs off a resume and formal interview, rather they get them through their network.

Instead of complaining about it why not understand how the world works and get out there?

As for your kid I think you need the right mindset quickly so your kid can learn that hard work is needed to get what you want.

Sooooo tryouts are now done, which teams are looking like the winners and losers signing week?

Very curious to hear from people in the know how teams changed!

They lost from a select team in a spring hockey game last week.

Big upgrades at SIR
TR will be basically the same
SYB add 4 players, upgrades at most positions
NYK will be a new team
DMM made changes to half the team, new staff
NT add 3 players, lateral moves
EE add 3 players, minor upgrades
MI is a mystery, definitely movement
LF made upgrades will be stronger
FH made minor upgrades new goalie
