100% true. It will all come out in the wash. So much entitlement out there amongst a lot of teams. They should stay in house league or select if the parents want full control of who’s on there social club.
It's AA hockey - it is 100% a social club. Would much rather have my kid play with all of his buddies and end up in 4th/5th/6th, then have some crazies come and try and hijack a team so that my kid can win some piece of plastic. Experiences are formed by the people you are around not whether you won a tournament when you were 12
This is cringe on so many levels. Low skill kid parent thinking. They empathize and feel deep sorrow for passing down their lack of [athleticism, intelligence, drive etc.] and toxically meddle in team politics pointing fingers at families having kids with winning attitudes. It’s the bottom end of the AA mindset.

Couldn’t agree more. Very toxic and demeaning post.

The kid is 11 grow up. Kids devlope at different ages. He has some skill at the current AA level.

Agreed. Solid player. Needs to be taught how to play how to play real hockey like all kids, and not to take frustration penalties. If going to NYK, thats good for talent to be spread out.

Best of Luck to SYB & TRT in the finals. It should be a great series.
And SIR please move on form #17. Looks like disgruntled SIR coaches or parents trashing a player who is leaving. SIR will be lucky to win a game next year.

Or you know it could be the parent of multiple AAA kids who just thinks that AA hockey is a social club and if you are playing to win you should step up a level

TR has top goalie so it will be his to lose or win. No superstars on TR and defence is weak. goalie saves their asses all the time. SYB has better defence and grit.

What are you talking about? 27 is probably the best player in the age group (AA east). Undersized, but kid can play. Agree with you on the defence though. SYB is deeper overall.
