Supply and demand folks. They can form 14 teams they will make 14. If you as parents feel it’s not competitive either drop down to A or on the flip side go to AAA.
IMO it’s more a matter of players and parents gravitating to certain teams and then other kids that could be 3rd line AA players on those top teams are 1st liners on those bottom teams so there will be disparity. Kids will catch up if coaching plans are executed but you don’t see it now.

The G is aweful - it’s a money machine that parents buy into and that’s it

West is so weak. Only 1 team in top 20 rankings.

The rankings are pretty whacky. And that one team is NO. ONE

The east has 7 teams and 4 are in the top 20. The west has 14 and have the top team. If you cut those 14 yo 7 and the top AA kids stay you will have a total different story. West is saturated due to number of teams. It is what it is, nothing is changing

Looks like refs fumbled this - no skin in the game but this is the result when you have such a disparity between top teams and Lower teams
G needs to be better and tier - some kids just can’t keep up

Your argument isn’t valid. Duffield which is the bottom team just got a 4 game suspension. there are dirty & aggressive players on many teams. It doesn’t matter if it’s a top team or bottom team. Refs need to do a better job to catch the dirty players and suspend them

I wonder if you check the kids with the most penalties in the season they would be considered dirty… or is it specific hockey plays

What teams are considered dirty, is it just Duffield.. I am sure there is more.

hot take, duffield may beat the beast or even tie them. 2 tops centers are out and Duff have a good goalie. anything can happen. last game was 0-0 going into 3rd. !!!!!

Nothing against the kids, but this loop (and many others) need to be tiered out... but for the Duffield goalie that game is 12-0.
Neither team is developing in a game like that.
