Lol no she is not a good role model!

It's an unfortunate situation and it definitely took two to tango. They are both at fault and both have to suffer the consequences for their actions whatever those consequences may be. What did they expect that neither of them would come out looking like the bad guy. It would be no different if a male teacher had an affair with a students mother and the husband came to the school to find the teacher. Do you not think that teacher would be 'on a leave' while they investigated and sorted out the mess...of course the teacher would be penalized just like the coach is now. It takes years and years to build credibility and reputation but a split second to tarnish it. Perhaps this will teach them both a lesson going forward.

At the end of the day parents can choose which teams they register with and which teams best represent what they want from the coach and organization. If you don't like this coach for what has happened, then don't sign with him. There are 13 other teams you can try out for. It's not like he's going to resign from his position like John Torey ...lol. go to another team with coaching staff that you feel are better role models. Simple.

Anyone care about the actual kids playing hockey? I heard there were 2 really close and exciting games today... anyone see them and care to comment?

Sharks tied the terriers...good for them...they've been improving over the last month and it would be really nice to see the underdogs go through ...

Where’s the young adult here? Dude is a 38yr old stud living like he’s in college still. Both are clearly to blame… even the most basic morals and ethics for any coach would tell you that this would be wildly inappropriate… TS isn’t a coach… he’s the organizations GM!!

Taken straight from the Rattlers website “The Mississauga Rattlers Hockey Association strives to provide a positive environment for players to develop both hockey and life skills, while enjoying the thrill and benefits of competing in Canada’s national winter sport.”

How can any GM claim this as the organizations mission statement and then proceed with such indecent disgraceful behaviour. Shows you how “Small” the focus is on anything other than profits and self-indulgence at the cost of others. Go ahead and join the MR, MNS teams feed the greed of one “Small” family.

There are so many corrupt organizations out there...did you know some GM's own the apparel and equipment companies that they send you too? They don't disclose that to you when you register though but in this case it's okay because no one had an affair. It's corrupt everywhere and no controls...unethical ans immoral all over the place but yet we keep signing our kids up...if you don't like it shit or get off the pot. Complain...take it to the news...do whatever just stop bitching about it...
