They don't disclose that to you when you register though but in this case it's okay because no one had an affair. It's corrupt everywhere and no controls...unethical ans immoral all over the place but yet we keep signing our kids up...if you don't like it shit or get off the pot. Complain...take it to the news...do whatever just stop bitching about it...
Yes the Small family owns the trophy shop where most teams buy their apparel from

I wonder who this could be...honestly this west mall and north star drama is getting old guys. Move on already. You both got your teams now move on and fill your spots. Calm down its not like either of those teams will be top 4 so why ru complaining about each other back and forth. Go about your business and let it go already...

As the parent of a G player, I find it incredibly dishonest to post something like this given what we all know some parents can be like… We’re all aware of that parent that starts contacting coaches in Dec/Jan of the current season to try to secure a spot on a team with a higher raking in their division. Not saying some coaches aren’t at fault in some of these situations, but it takes two sides to create the mess we have in the GTHL right now and the parents are just as much at fault. If you know the reasons for why these kids were de-committed and find fault with it, feel free to vent… It may help others to get that sort of clarity. If you only know based on second or even third hand info then make accusations, then you’re part of the problem.

Add Caps to that list too. They actually put it writing on their Team Snap on two occassions to the current parents that they were going to have skates with dates and times 'for players that expressed interest in joining the team next season'. Until folks start reporting how every rule in the book is being broken and the GTHL actually follows through with discipline...things won't change. In the mean time you could always let Scott oakman and hockey Canada know about them and provide the facts to support your claims.

It's an ugly process and there's not much you can do to prevent. Hopefully you find a good coach that has integrity and ethics and is honest from the beginning. Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there that do not have an ounce of honor in their body...it is what it is.

Don't forget that people only hear what they want to hear. Maybe the coach that committed to those players in Jan said they needed to work on a few things before coming over...and the parents failed to hear that. Now when they take a look at that same player in April they are no improvement. Or parents tell coaches they are still waiting to hear back from other teams but doe now they will commit...and when a better offer comes along they take it for their child. It happens more than you know...people hear only what they want.....
