Caps have been using players from the same team to fill in holes on their team.
ever wonder why at the start of the season saw only 12 kids on the bench. then every time they play always 2 -3 kids with no name on shirt.
one kid even had on another teams hockey pants on. hear they have names on the roaster that never even played a game with them.
once or twice ya sure but its every game.

will maybe not against the north stars lol.

Surely this is allowed. I know of a few 2013 players that have have been “called up” to play with a 2012 team for a game or two. This is normal at all levels. Why the hate for the GT CAPS if they are doing this too?

Typically call ups are used to replace an absent player, not to stack the team.

I guess I’m new to all this. What’s the issue. Are these kids being called up 2014 select players? If so, why all the bitching and moaning. They’re younger. Doubt the talent level pushes the team to unbeatable. Lighten up ladies.

If those call ups are U10 A or Select then they have a team and are genuine call ups. Who knows why they didn’t offer spots or if those kids even went to try outs. Still not sure what the issue is if everything is above board.
