No “Pusateri type players, that can control a game. We have alot of skilled grinders, but it ends up just being sloppy hockey. Have our coaches failed at developing this by making the kids just do dumps and chase/ double cycles as offence? Hockey Canada is in trouble unless we get our skill development up, the coaching in the states is MUCH BETTER than the GTHL. There are maybe 15-20 coaches I can say are actually good, 1-5 that are great, IN ALL OF MINOR HOCKEY. They need to drain the swamp and get rid of all the old heads for new ones with new ideas and a heart beat.
Haha this again. That must be why the two Ontario teams got killed by all the American teams at the brick… o wait
Why are you still talking about a summer tournament at a Mall?

You idiots are all brain washed to think the BRICK is the measuring stick of talent.
Look at the top GTHL teams vs American teams at legit tournaments, like the SILVER STICK(last year it was an all US SF NO? or any tournaments where the GTHL TOP 3 get DESTROYED by American teams. The skill level in the states is MUCH higher, thats a fact.

If you have an athletic kid in the US and you think they remotely have a shot at pro, why would you pursue hockey v baseball, football, basketball, golf, tennis?? The average annual salary in hockey is a fraction of the annual average salary for ANY other pro sport. You only do it if you know your kid is not up to the competition in the other top sports where they also have access to the best coaches in the World.
In Canada, there are no world class coaches or facilities in any other sport except hockey and those are really only limited to the GTA and GTHL.
The US teams are ahead in the 2014 age group for one reason. COVID shut downs. There were a group of GTHL dads that found a way to keep their kids skating during those shut downs. They have a head start on most other 2014 kids. Those dads are now in their glory days. enjoy it, the gap is closing, puberty is not far, hitting is not far off. Enjoy your time in the spotlight. Nothing like peeking at 10 -12 years old.

I completely agree. Their coach is maybe the best in the entire province for 2014. Kingston is very lucky to have him.

Beat or compete with any relevant teams? (ie. QRD, OVSS, etc.?)

Who are the good/great coaches in the 2014 age group?
What does everyone think of the family and friends coaching staff running the Reps?

The VK Dads are the best coaches. We all know they really run that team. Good luck if your not in the clicke and are not invited to the small group skates. Oh yeah dont forget coach genius FM Dad. He will tell you when you ask.

Cut her some slack, she gave birth to an elite 2015 superstar player currently being recruited by the TOP 5 AAA 2015 teams.
