TW goaltending hasn't been fully tested this season at all. Strong defense and quick forwards make an easy job for them. That team expects to win so it might be a good upset in the making.
Saying TW's goaltending hasnt been 'tested all year' is really a compliment to their team, as you mentioned. Seems like they got tested vs EE but that was an exhibition game so who knows. Will be a fun end to the season for sure.
EE tested them alright :D

So Mr. EE, your team seems really amazing. But amazing is really just a reference to who their competition is. If you went down to single A you’d win by even more, and if you went up to AAA you’d lose more.
So good for your team, you have a mix of almost AAA kids and some AA players.
You probably dominate in your men’s league D level also

Love this. EE have been all year touting themselves as this amazing team. There are probably 100 other teams that are better, but they play at their appropriate level.

Job well done to all the kids!!
Should be a great final 4. All teams can compete and will be fun to watch. Let’s see which kids decide to show up.

There are a lot of good kids in the East who might like to try AAA, but where should they play? Look at a map of the GTHL AAA teams and tell me where should kids from Scarborough and East York go? DMF is the closest team but they can only carry 15/16 players. Markham is a disaster. So many of the best kids stay with their local clubs 'cause driving an hour to practice several times a week simply isn't an option for many families.

It's not simply an EE problem, but TR has good kids, WH has good kids, but these clubs are based in the eastern end of Toronto with few or no AAA options. Imagine living in Etobicoke or Vaughan or Mississauga and being asked to drive to the Scarborough or, worse, Pickering in order to play and practice.

Chesswood/Scotia and Goulding aren't massive drives from the east. So there that opens it up to JRC, Titans, Red Wings, DMF, MM, and NYR as options within a 30 minute drive. Stop complaining.

Any thoughts about MT? on one hand they've shown an impressive progress during the season, on the other I heard that they're a having a conflict between coaches and some parents. So probably next season either some kids or coaches will leave. Could it make the team weaker? What was the nature of the conflict? Also noticed that their parents are too emotional during games and teams like that sometimes are not very consistent.

Someone posted a well-thought out, rational response to the OP (which was really just whining about EE for some reason) and your response is 'stop complaining'. Thats weak, even for this site. No one was complaining.

It is a problem that there is only one AAA team in the East End and a reminder that team is also entitled to take kids from wherever, so it's not even guaranteed that is 15 spots for kids from East on that team. Location is a factor parents consider. Plain and simple. It's also a problem that isnt going away anytime soon. City demographics change but GTHL isnt gonna strip clubs of AAA status and award it to others. Might make the league more even if they did, but they wont.

So until then, you might see some strong AA players in east. It's all good. West AA division has great players and teams too. Makes the GTHL better to have strong AA teams as well. Excited to see these 4 teams battle it out. Congrats to TW, HV, MT and VR.
