Their feeder team won two games last year.

So yes if they win 4 this year that will be a surprise.

HVS are being massively overrated. Their entire 2015 year was decimated 2 years ago with kids going to klevr or GB. Their top tier team last year was select level at best, losing by 20+ goals to other AA calibre teams.

I suppose it’s possible they imported a bunch of talent, but haven’t heard of anyone heading there as most viewed MNS as a more desirable destination. So far it seems like they gotten their doors blown off by any moderate level of competition, including this weekend.

Feels like people are going off their orgs name recognition, without knowing what’s been happening there at the 2015 age

They have 1 forward of an average AA level and 1 above average goalie and a good coach who is not a magician. These 2 kids are their only assets. 4 wins is a realistic target.
DD have a goalie of comparable quality, and at least 5-7 strong kids. But Chico is a liability.
About a year ago DD feeder team played MNS feeder team and DD literally destroyed them. This year it will be different, but still I believe that DD will win because of their higher class.

Ask WML how it worked out for them when they played MNS this weekend.

Chico’s problem aside from his coaching is not the 5-7 top kids but the 5-7 bottom skaters most of which he had to fill at the 11th hour. They won’t be anything better than middle of mid pack for that reason.

C’s only problem is that he is lazy, untruthful and doesn’t want to be a coach. He is an ambassador of everything bad about minor hockey in Toronto: Shady connections, nepotism, false promises, money grab, ass licking of people in higher positions, senseless hockey classes etc.

Half of the teams in the group are formed with house league level kids. Beast core came from one of the worst teams in MHL, they added few mostly very mediocre kids, but they have a good coach and now they are one of the best in AA.
A friend of Beast coach obsessed with hockey took some kids from Chico and now they are favourites in East

You must not watch a lot of house league. Those kids can’t even raise the puck or stop properly.

The silver stick this morning was worse than watching paint dry, the gap between AA and AAA is the biggest it's been in years. Many of the kids would be better off going A and just having fun.

The skating alone is very evident of A not even AA
