To the poster above , the 2015 age group is the deepest in the last 5-7 years across North America. If you want to talk trash then know your audience and come prepared.
it is??? i was under the impression the 2014 group is better. Let's also remember that covid probably played a role here. Not making excuses, i'm happy with where my kid is at but i wouldnt have thought 2015 is a spectacular birth year.
I can’t stand people who keep using Covid as an excuse. It didn’t hold Saskatchewan 2015 boys back. Or any other boys - just the bulldog crew. Bulldogs went with buddies and favours - now it’s obvious that 5-6 boys shouldn’t be there at all.
like it or not it matters a lot as far as skating ability goes. A critical year of development was missed.
Correct. And Ontario was shut down totally while some other provinces and a lot of states were not. Our 2015 group has been handicapped and are a year behind in development as you said. As far as Saskatchewan, you can't compare amongst the age group. If that team had played an average 2012 or 2013 Brick team they would have been slaughtered 10-0. They look good right now because they're playing Brick teams that are not even as good as some league teams in other age groups when they were 9/10.

Ask any tenured, knowledgeable hockey person and they'll tell you that the 2015 group is weak and shallow. I'm saying that as a 2015 parent. That's not saying there are no good players, but the talent level is thin. The 2014 and 2016 group have the same issue. It is what it is, in some ways it's better for the talented kids because they will stand out more than they would in deeper age groups.
A friend is a long time OHL scout and current U14 AAA coach and he has been saying for a couple of years that the 2010 and 2013 groups are the strongest in the past decade.
Again, I am not saying there are no quality 2015 players, my son is a 2015 and in Edmonton right now. It's just the way it is.
Ok genius- then why can everyone else beat the bulldogs. You guys are a joke. So you mean 2015 is a strong group everywhere except the bulldogs due to covid. lol
Just accept the fact that the team was chose poorly.
Ontario has plenty of boys to choose from compared to the US. If Covid was a real excuse- every team would be weak. Not just bulldogs.
And plenty of US states were shut down during covid. They had no advantage.
GTHL and bulldogs aren’t where the talent is. Paid spots on teams and friends and family spots are why 50% of the GTHL teams couldn’t beat basic omha and alliance teams.

The 2014 bulldogs made the finals last year. And PHD made the semis and had to face Bulldogs. Covid didn’t hold them back. Face the fact that 2015 bulldogs were selected poorly. And lines run around RL to ensure he gets 1 point to cement his name in the history books.
D and goaltending are a total mess. Because 2015 is weak the Marlies can hide this but not for long.
There are easy 2/3 better goalies and 5/6 better D they could have gone with , but wanted to try and build their winter team through the brick.
TM going to be in for a real long winter. Their so called #1 goalie for pulled against a team that the Reps would beat.
LH is not joining TM. Committed to YSE.
Good! Because he’s absolute dust. id love to hear how a kid like that got signed to a Brick team. some top Alliance goalies left for US brick teams that will end up far higher in the standings.
I’m not aware of any alliance goalie other than the one who’s playing for Chicago at the brick.
Consider it a blessing he isn’t in the room with your boys.
He is constantly talking crap about players on his own team.
Toronto teams dodged a bullet by passing on him.
No goalies in Alliance should be playing at the brick.
Not a single strong goalie in that league.
IR stinks and got lit up by every decent team he played against last year. He bought his spot with Chicago thats no secret.

Thats nothing!!!! IR mother got drunk and flashed her saggy pancake tiddies at the bar last night
