I hear they wont even have a team next season. Humber Valley this year is not that good really, dont think they have played Duffield Red yet? Next year HV will be a well put together team by the sounds of it.

Downsview kids are all leaving from the sounds of it
We will all find out where people land in a few months with May try outs happening at 2015 now.
It looks like 2015 is a strong age group.
Literally though. Some real muscle in this age group.
Muscle ? They are still in diapers. You are all crazy trying to make your path through this with this and that scenarios.

Amen brother. All these parents are batshit crazy. At this age it's all about fun and development. Just find a quiet corner of the rink and enjoy the game away from all this nonsense. These kids are on the ice too much for this age, it's too intense. My son only gets out there 8-9 times a week.

Defiantly some good kids but it all changes i think we all know that. As the game gets faster and more aggressive you will see half of these kids fall off. 2014/2013 seems to be watered down 2015/2016 look like they have deeper talent

Why is Downsview folding? Where are the kids going?

The coach has had a hard time recruiting, from what I’ve heard. I’ve only heard stories second hand, but I believe issues started last spring when he had the PH team and made a lot of questionable decisions. The team struggled mightily as a direct result.

As for where they are going, my guess would be some land on this new super team.

Sorry to burst the bubble but if our age group was so strong we wouldn’t have DD and TBD dominating the province. Instead look at the silver lining, it’ll make your little ankle burner look better

2015 is the strongest age group since 2012 by a country mile

Imagine getting to the point of being a middle aged man who knows minor hockey age groups so well, that you can say one is a country mile better than another, when they are 7.

Or said differently, they are only better than 2013 and 2014 - which of course makes sense because those kids lost two years at key developmental ages because of Covid.
