MM circling back on kids they originally cut and begging them to come back and play now. Question is , will the crazy blonde be involved or did she jump ship too.
Well, if she's back, then it will be mission impossible for them to get anyone back. Reps 2014 are a good example of what could go wrong if one of the coaches is a crazy always yelling person.
MM are about to add a 5th and 6th tryout to the schedule
You probably missed a couple in between.
As a former DW parent, i can say MM lost both DW goalies, 3-4 defenders, and 3 forwards (by my last count) I'm on the outside now....committed elsewhere. This was all before the end of the NYHL season. Some due to cuts (AA level kids) but mostly due to the coach thinking he had kids coming from elsewhere that were 'so good' and was clearing space for them. Talking to him about it back in February it was clear he had no idea how OMHA releases work and even thought MM had a different recruiting catchment from the rest of the GTHL. It was ignorant. He was patronizing to/lead on/used the parents and players who had showed loyalty and basically seemed immature and unready to run a AAA club. He has 2 really good players keft from DW but guaranteed they get poached by other teams next season. The consensus amongst the parent group at DW was that it was special with great chemistry amongst the families and kids but the coach's immature handling of it blew up the team. You don't have to read far on this site to see how rare a solid parent group is...he totally shat the bed.
Newsflash: the team is full, with better players.
Ok coach.

Anyone know if the AAA centres in OMHA have full teams already, or is that something that is more a GTHL thing?

"Newsflash: the team is full, with better players." BwhahahHHa! That's why MM is holding a half dozen tryouts and is calling back the kids that coach said were 'AA'? Lol omg. MM will be better than TRW but that's about it.

Much more of a GTHL thing. Coaches likely have idea of their core top half players but wait for tryouts to select team and sign kids especially at U10. After that it’s generally same team with a couple swap outs unless a new coach comes in and blows it up.

Makes sense, thanks.

What are the chances that TRW will surprise everyone? Is there any theoretical possibility that they will find some good kids the one's nobody paid attention at or some talented imports from OMHA or even Russia-Eastern Europe(seems like they have good connections with them) or I dunno whom and how, so that their experienced coach(I've no idea if he is really experienced) can build a competitive mid-table team during summer?

0 chance

High end imports tend to go to top programs. You also need a strong core / coaches to attract those kids. People don’t realize often how these top teams are formed through network

Based on current view of teams what are current thoughts on standings next year:

Tier 1:
JRC, Marlies, NYR,

Tier 2:
TYN, DMF

Tier 3:
VK, Rebels

Tier 4:
Sens, Reps

Tier 5:

What Rebels will look like? Seems like the coach initially tried to leave PC kids behind and get strong kids from Klevr. But after a chat with his PC parent group they managed to find right arguments, so the coach changed his mind and took PC to R. If it's true, Rebels will fight with MM and TRW for 10 position in the league.

You might be right if that is the case as I saw then play, but as an outsider, still have a nice coach to develop with (cue the ok dad/coach comments)
