Re: 2015 AAA
Grapevine says TRW is charging a player fee of $17,000! Has anyone else heard this, or is it just BS?

I’d say BS. However they’re going with 10 or 11 forwards.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 10:43 pm Grapevine says TRW is charging a player fee of $17,000! Has anyone else heard this, or is it just BS?

Re: 2015 AAA
This is the thing (Assuming you meant 10 or 11 skaters). We had a parent group this year that was asking for a short bench, we ran the numbers and it took our costs from something like $4000-ish (with assumed fund-raising) to closer to $6500...
thats a lot of damn money for your kids to be exhausted as hell by the end of a game.

Well, that’s not too far from truth as a general rule. However they practice very individual approach in their pricing strategy.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 10:43 pm Grapevine says TRW is charging a player fee of $17,000! Has anyone else heard this, or is it just BS?

In TRW at least Marty is a reasonable and helpful guy with whom you can cooperate through the year.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:25 amWell, that’s not too far from truth as a general rule. In MM you’ll face a hockey loser with only relevant experience in a scam Metropolitan League. He was lucky to have some decent kids last year, but switched on the mode of Middle Eastern tyrant from Sasha Baron Cohen movie, so the kids left for other teams .everyone was fed up with his constant lying and inconsistency. In April that movie tyrant found out that no one is impressed with his tricks a started to run around in search of anybody to fill the roster. Best he could do was to find some midlevels from MHL whose parents were ready to pay for extra practices
