Talk all you want but the Nats coach is a proven winner. Actions speak louder than words.

Not trying to be rude but if your team plays down in AAA and beats up on teams, of course you will be a proven winner. congrats Everest/AD this weekend, you might as well just ask them to hand you over the medals

They lost a couple kids down to YSE because they are from Newmarket/Aurora but the team would still have been phenomenal when you add in a couple T2 cobras and kids from the surrounding area MD.

But instead they choose to drive down to Toronto 4 or 5 times a week in traffic to play on the Young Nats or some other G team. Its literally insane. There are only going to be 4 or 5 good G teams. So its not like they are going to be playing better competition on average. It would have been the same in OMHA.

WW
Quinte
YSE
APR

Are all going to be pretty dang good.

BJC
Petb
King
COW

are all going to be solid.

MW
NCP
NSW

are going to be dog shit.

Do they genuinely believe the development is going to be soo much beter in the GTHL when you are:

- Still playing in a league where 66% of games will be blow outs
- paying literally twice the cost
- Driving 1.5 hours on average in traffic both ways 4-5 days a week
- dealing with Toronto people, shitty toronto rinks, and some of the most cut-throat/toxic humans in the world?

Dumb, dumb, dumb...
ya you want to know why cobras losts majority of their top kids and no one wants to stay in barrie? cause of the crazy owner and coach woody wood pecker RW!! i would drive 4 hours for hockey to stay the F away from him and Barrie! hes a sandbagging, controlling, gambling, toxic, child verbal abusing coach and should stay far far far away from 6-9 year olds!!!!

you burned too many bridges bro. you are complete toxic bro

Spring hockey is fantasy hockey. There is not 1 gthl or omha team that can compete at the elite level. It’s that simple. The AAA level in big box tournaments like this up coming tournament will be made up of really solid teams. Any winter aaa team will still have struggles in the AAA division. We saw it in the hhof, strong winter teams even with add on players can’t compete. Pro hockeys roster this tournament is literally a dream team. There is not a chance that a winter team would even keep a 5 goal gap let alone other strong teams like pacific and Boston. By the way did we say it’s spring hockey. This hockey has no bearing on what teams will look like in that fall.

Agreed with the above poster. YK was the best team in the province this past season and they significantly upgraded their lineup for spring. They added the top kid from the US plus a lot of players that played a year up. They themselves know that even the top winter team can not compete in these spring tournaments. Spring is spring and winter is a completely different game. Spring hockey is short lived. Enjoy it while it is here for the next month.

But, R yan W ood doesn't have the team?

that doesn't make any sense. Plus there are 4 teams you need to drive past before you get to Toronto.

Why would anyone care where someone else is playing or how much they're driving to get there? That's the point of open borders... play where you want. If that means driving, go for it. If you don't want to drive, don't. It's simple.

Yes, Parents just choose what is the best for your own kids. People have different view and target. Some parents may target on Brick, OHL, NHL. Some are just for extra activities outside school. It is a family choice
