Let's also get real. The draft should be about 3-5 rounds at most. If you're going to force these teams to make all these long shot picks, I don't blame them one bit for selling off later round picks if parents are silly enough to pay for it as I sincerely doubt OHL teams have spent a huge amount of time parsing the specific difference between Barrie's 4th Dman vs North Yorks 8th forward vs the backup goalie from Sudbury.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 1:38 am Let’s get real here. This Draft is just a joke now. When you see Walters kid getting drafted it’s obvious to see that parents are paying for picks. The kids know, the parents know, even John knows his kid should have never been drafted. Embarrassing.

Re: 2024 OHL Draft 2008 Age Group
You don't need to spend a huge amount of time on the pick you described. Simply put what are the needs, do we have extra goalies in your system at this age? How many dmen did we draft thus far? In 2 questions I can figure out what you can do.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 7:38 amLet's also get real. The draft should be about 3-5 rounds at most. and only drafting 3-5 rounds, team would be lucky to have 2/3 kids a year that make it, how do you fill your team? free agents? so the bad teams continue to get bad, and the top teams get the quality FA. Your league will not last.

I would bet a solid $100 that this list looks way, way, way different if you actually only counted "home boundry" draft results. Thats the true brag post imo.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 7:31 am Where players were drafted from:

It’s a moot point because players go where they believe they have the best opportunity to showcase themselves and that’s what matters.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 11:52 amI would bet a solid $100 that this list looks way, way, way different if you actually only counted "home boundry" draft results. Re: 2024 OHL Draft 2008 Age Group
A decade of drinking, conniving, spending, drinking, dreaming, complaining, drinking, spazzing, finagling, lying, crying, trying and drinking amounted to….
And hopefully some good memories here and there.
