Exactly, AMHA was very well run .. really just a case of demographics/COVID getting the best of them.
Anyone from ajax and part of the new org now realizes how diffunctional the amha really was. We had 11 rep teams in the last year. PHA had 18. Good on the amha to realize they were dead in a year. PHa would if ate them up and would of had 0 board seats. I must say I have never seen people happier, all the old amha grumbling is non existent.
Are people finding enough Ajax representation on the APR/PHA Board?
Ajax/Springfield and Pickering/Shelbyville am I right?

No one cares anymore about ajax or Pickering. Everyone sees it as one. You need to finally move on. Be happy by the fact you were not utterly embarrassed another year running the amha. I know first hand coaching has never been easier than at any point in ajax. Just go away

Coaching is not suppose to be 'easier' .. it is suppose to be about 'development' .. this was a core value demanded on all coaches within the AMHA. Ultimately, development will lead to championships. Too bad APR doesn't have this high level of expectation from its coaches.

Again with this shit? AMHA's numbers in the pre-Covid years were a fraction of what they were a decade earlier. COVID may have accelerated the inevitable but Ajax was always going to need to be swallowed up by Pickering.

But Ajax was all-white rich families a decade earlier right? FOH.

The discussion should not be about demographics/Covid/cultural changes. Yes, Ajax/Pickering may be one association. The issue is we lost so much of the 'values' of the AMHA. I really think minor hockey in Ajax and Pickering would be in a much better place today if AMHA swallowed up Pickering.

Ajax got schooled by Pickering on how to properly run a hockey association. Ajax Minor arrogance and nepotism got in the way. As an Ajax resident I always believed what they said about the PHA, now we all have been exposed to the truth.

Sorry, Ajax took a back seat under the merger with Pickering. Not seeing the teams develop in the same fashion as when Ajax had their own centre, Knights. Definitely seeing it with the lack of championships once again under APR.

There are 7 teams within the APR association advancing to the second round of APMHA playoffs. How many advanced went to the second round with AMHA? This is an accomplishment. Why the obsession about championships anyway, great minor hockey experience for so many kids at APR.
