Totally agree. This experiment has failed. Going to be tough but lets bring back AMHA and a progressive board for minor hockey in Ajax. This community deserves championships.

Ya OK, its now obvious the who had the secret sauce. Ajax had 11 rep teams in their final year and forcing our A team to play up at AA and getting smoked. Imo the first year was an overwhelming success, this is factual. No one wants to return to the days past.
Just ask the coaches.

I am not seeing many championships being put up by APR rep teams. Right now, nothing in AA and A.

Ajax and Pickering are both garbage why is there even a forum on this. They win nothing they don’t even get to OMHAs. They only do well with recruitment. They are largely soccer based now.

The reason there’s a whole thread dedicated to APMHA is the same reason why the longest thread on the Teams section is an AP team. Top to bottom a horrible organization filled with cliques and parent coaches. They hold kids hostage from the G and ruin them with bad development and a toxic culture. It’s a shame because there are some really good young players there.

The thread is to warn associations be careful of mergers as the grass is not greener on the other side. Two years ago we had AMHA (Knights) in Ajax. Despite a progressive board, rooted team in the community and championship calibre rep teams, the COVID impact did have an impact on house league registration. The solution seemed to be a merger .. the new world is proving APR has a long way to go.

This has to be a WestHill Butt hurt person. You cannot develop your own players so desperation sets in and you have to go try and pouch kids with false hope and lies.

I have read this entire thread and don't get the next step. Is Ajax looking to separate from APR and starting their own association again?
